Your paper stays yours
Submitting an unpublished paper takes trust. Here is exactly how we handle it.
We never train on your manuscript
Your paper is sent to the OpenAI API only to generate your report. OpenAI does not train its models on data sent through the API (their policy since 2023). We never use your paper to train anything, and we never sell or share it.
Your paper is not stored as a file
The PDF you upload is processed in memory to produce your report and is not kept as a file afterwards. What we store is the report itself, tied to your account.
Your reports are private to you
Reports are readable only by the account that created them, enforced at the database layer. Nobody else, including us in normal operation, browses your reports.
You can delete your reports anytime
Delete any report from the Reports tab and it is removed. Deleting a report does not refund the credit it cost.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All traffic uses HTTPS, and stored data is encrypted at rest by our cloud provider.
